Architecture competitions are much more than a way to access professional projects. They represent a way of thinking, experimenting and debating about architecture and the city. There is no other publication more dedicated, serious and documented in relation to competitions than wettbewerbe aktuell. Since 1971, the numerous proposals that have been published in wa with the greatest detail and impartiality already constitute an extremely valuable archive on the architecture of the last 50 years. All of this has been made possible by Thomas Hoffmann-Kuhnt and his team for their dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm over five decades. Congratulations!
